Safer Huntington WV

Everyone who lives in Huntington has something they love about our small city but, to be honest, we all want to see the city improve as well.  No city is perfect and Huntington is no exception.  A lot of times you might think there isn’t really anything one person can do that will really change anything.   The thing is though, you’re not alone, we are here to help and encourage you.  Our goal here is twofold; first we want to help make Huntington safer by proactively preventing crime and secondly we want to connect the various people in the city with others who share the similar desire of increasing safety on the streets of Huntington.

This is just our welcome message; a way to introduce ourselves to the rest of the city, but our future posts will have tips on making your own neighborhoods safer and by proxy the city as a whole.  We are also going to make it easier for you to find others in your neighborhood trying to do the same thing; whether it is by connecting you with your neighborhood assocation, neighborhood watch, or starting a watch in your neighborhood if one doesn’t exist yet.

At the moment we are still organizing some things around the site so some of the navigation elemements may change over the next couple of weeks as we get comfortable.  Also, if you have a feed reader please subscribe to our sites feed so you can stay up-to-date on what’s happening in the promotion of Safety in Huntington.
